Mindfulness Practice
Please take a moment to find a comfortable seated position. Feel the support of the chair or floor beneath you, and take a moment to become aware of your body sitting and your natural breath.
Now, gently bring to mind your purpose or sense of calling. Reflect on your core values. Notice how the awareness of your purpose manifests in your body.
What sensations arise when you think about acting with purpose and in alignment with your values?
Do you feel a sense of warmth, openness, or perhaps a feeling of readiness?
Simply observe these sensations without judgment.
Let's take a deep, intentional inhale together, followed by a long, audible exhale.
Reflection Questions
- Physical Awareness of Purpose:
What physical sensations did you notice in your body as you reflected on your purpose and values? Did certain parts of your body feel more activated or relaxed?
- Emotional Connection:
As you thought about acting in alignment with your values, what emotions arose for you? How do these emotions influence your sense of purpose in your daily actions?
- Integrating Purpose into Action:
How can you intentionally align your daily actions and decisions with the purpose and values you reflected on during this practice? What small, consistent steps can help you stay connected to this sense of calling?
