Grounding (On the Move)
As you move your body, take an intentional deep breath, and as you exhale, relax any unnecessary tension and settle into the strength of your body in motion, becoming aware of the mechanics of the movement - how your arms, legs, hips, and torso work together in fluid action. Feel the weight of your body and feel the earth beneath you; move into an alliance with your breath, your body, and gravity. Breathe deeply again and settle into the strength of the movement of your body, working in a platform of stability and alertness, taking in all the sensory information that makes up your situational awareness. Settle your mind and body into a keen readiness and respond skillfully to the world around you.
